Authority says people of Ramsey are 'endeared' to feline
Thomas the Town Cat's 'freedom' ceremony has 'categorically' not cost Ramsey residents any money.
The feline was granted his free status this week.

The chair of the local authority says the approach to the festive season is about 'joy' and people are 'endeared' to the cat; it's hoped that by honouring Thomas it will support the charitable work organised by businesses in the town.
Rob Cowell says it's not something he expected to do when he took on his position.
Commissioner Sandra Cottam-Shea hopes the moggy will help bring footfall to Ramsey.
