Consultation with residents and staff needed
All interested parties will need to be consulted about any future replacement of the Cummal Mooar residential home in Ramsey.
That's according to Health Minister Lawrie Hooper.
In the past week, Manx Care announced the facility was going to close in the next two years and that the construction of a new home would not be going ahead.
But Mr Hooper has stated his department's intention to keep it open until it's replaced, although he's not able to say when that will be:
Port St Mary father continues to fight for change in drug laws
Driving ban for man caught drug driving at the Sea Terminal
'Really important' children are inspired to use their imaginations, says Manx author
