Society visits Island for 80th anniversary
A group of George Formby enthusiasts are hoping the Manx weather will turn out nice again as they visit the Island this weekend. (Sat and Sun 25/26th)
Around twenty members of the Formby Society arrive on the Island this evening to celebrate the 80th anniversary of one of George's best loved films.
"No Limit" was shot on the Isle of Man in 1935.
Chair of the society Caroline Stewart says they have a packed itinerary planned and hope as many people as possible come along and join them:
One in eight drinking above recommended weekly alcohol limit
Renal patients 'near breaking point' over lack of dialysis facilities in the north
Public Health to expand 'stop nicotine' services and accept referrals from children
Fourth candidate declares for Glenfaba and Peel
