Creamery MD hopes DEFA can support farmers
Consumers won't a see a rise in the cost of a pint of milk in the immediate future, despite the impact of this year's weather on the Island's farming industry.
The retail price of milk, which stands at 60p-per-pint, is controlled by the Milk Price Order.
Previous increases, which were approved by Tynwald, came in 2012 and again in 2015.
Managing Director of Isle of Man Creamery Findlay Macleod confirmed a price rise is not on the cards:
Housing, healthcare and overspending some of the concerns ahead of elections
Yellow weather warning for next two high tides
Glover refuses to sign Bishop's vote bill over diocese concerns
