No new coronavirus cases for one week

Active cases number remains at six

It's now been a week since the last coronavirus case was recorded in the Isle of Man.

At this afternoon's government media briefing, Health and Social Care Minister David Ashford announced the total number of confirmed cases has remained at 336 for a seventh consecutive day.

He again warned against complacency, though, and says a lack of new positive tests doesn't mean there aren't more cases out there:

There are still six confirmed active cases - four in the community and two in hospital.

A total of 4,669 have been conducted, with 21 results being awaited.

Mr Ashford also spoke about government's expanded testing regime, now that capacity has been freed up.

Government says: "weekly tests are now available to those working with the vulnerable or in direct one-on-one contact."

"This includes health and social care staff including care and residential homes, supported living and the voluntary sector."

"It also includes prison and police officers."
