Yellow weather warning issued for Storm Dennis

There will be no newspapers on the Island today after last night's sailings and flights were cancelled because of Storm Dennis.

The supply will be distributed on Monday if the boat sails.

Sticking with the seas, this morning's 8:45 crossing to Heysham has been cancelled, as has its 2:15pm return journey.

This evening's 8:45 sailing is also subject to possible disruption or cancellation.

A decision will be made by 5:30 on whether or not it will go.

You can contact the Reservations team after 7:15am on 661661.

Some flights are also affected, Ronaldsway is advising people check before travelling.

Stormy conditions are set to continue today.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for coastal overtopping, severe gales up to 60mph, and heavy rain.
