No one harmed in Douglas house fire

Fire crews called to Albany Street

No one was harmed in a house fire in Douglas, where fire crews spent three hours extinguishing the blaze.

Teams from Douglas station were called out shortly after 4:30pm yesterday, to the property on Albany Street.

People were able to leave the building after they were alerted by a smoke alarm.

Fire fighters say it was contained to one property as they were called in early.
