MHK keen to see progress on sewage situation
No-one on the Isle of Man would say it's acceptable for raw sewage to continue to be pumped into Laxey bay.
That's from Garff MHK Andrew Smith, who's sought an end to the current situation since serving as a commissioner for the area almost 30 years ago.
Earlier this year, Manx Utilities announced land within the Axnfell plantation has been identified as the preferred site for a new sewage treatment works.
Mr Smith is keen to see progress:
