Idea has been 'roundly rejected'
There are no plans to bring in a UK company in to oversee any potential housing association on the Island.
That's according to the new Chair of the Housing and Communities Board.
Douglas North MHK David Ashford addressed concerns from callers on Manx Radio's Mannin Line this week.
He said although that was an option within the Toulson Report, it was 'roundly rejected' by Tynwald:
Residents still want to see what wind farm will look like
Construction costs on the Island 18% above UK average and comparable with Outer London
Manx residents 'will probably need to pay more' if they want universal health service
Apartment building planned for Douglas City Centre
