Julie Edge conscience clear after resignation
An Onchan MHK says her conscience is clear after she severed ties with the LibVan Party – little over 14 months after being elected.
Julie Edge claimed she’d been restricted from fulfilling her role properly and stopped from asking oral questions about health issues by party leader, Health Minister Kate Beecroft.
Her former LibVan colleague, Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper, subsequently accused Ms Edge of lying.
Ms Edge says she has no regrets about resigning.
