It comes after the resignation of John Hamilton earlier this month
Nominations are open for people to stand for the vacant seat on Onchan Commissioners.
Residents wanting to put themselves forward can collect forms which must be submitted between 2 July and 1pm on 9 July to the local authority.
The seat was made available following the resignation of John Hamilton earlier this month.
If more than two people hope to take on the position, polling will be held on Thursday 7 August at The Hub on School Road between 8am and 8pm.
