Awards celebrate community involvement in biosphere
Do you know anyone with particularly green fingers who has been doing their bit for the biosphere?
If so, and you like them enough, you can nominate them for an award.
Submissions are now open for the 2019 Biosphere Awards, which aim to celebrate people's involvement in striving for a greener future.
There are four categories in the awards; environment, economic sustainability, energy and education/public awareness.
To enter, send 200 words of what you or someone you know has done to benefit the environment to biosphere@gov.im
The deadline for entries is Friday 30 August.
