Rushen MHK Quintin Gill is calling for a rethink about how Port Erin and Port St Mary can be regenerated.
In Tynwald this week, he will quiz Chief Minister Tony Brown about how much the Southwest committee has spent under the government's town and village regeneration scheme.
Mr Gill says, so far, very little cash has been spent sprucing up the south, and Port St Mary in particular has been restricted because its regeneration zone covers only a small part of the village.
He says there seems to have been a lot of talking, and little action so far.
