Cracked pipe needs to be fixed and 'water safely recirculated and tested'
The main swimming pool at the National Sports Centre is to remain closed until the New Year due to a cracked pipe.
The Isle of Man Government has shared an update after it was shut 'with immediate effect' on Thursday (18 December).
It says the main pool 'will not be usable until the cracked water circulation pipe is fixed, and the water safely recirculated and tested'.
In addition, it's confirmed that the jacuzzi in the spa suite will also be closed until the end of January due to 'required maintenance'.
The leisure pool, sauna and steam room will all remain open as normal throughout the festive period.
Government has thanked customers for their patience and understanding, apologised for any inconvenience caused and says it will provide further updates as soon as possible.
