Manx Legion Club to host gathering
Members of the public are invited to a meeting this evening (Wednesday) to discuss the funding of nursing and residential care in the Island.
It’s been arranged by the Manx Legion Club which approached government to see if both parties could work together to support those struggling to make ends meet.
Policy and Reform Minister Chris Thomas and Treasury officers from the social security division will be on hand to answer questions.
Club president Charles Wilson says there are many points to be considered about funding arrangements.
