30-year-old also admits stealing alcohol from Shoprite
A Ramsey man will be sentenced in October after stealing his neighbour’s parcel.
Gary Robert Bowie, of Mountwood Court, took the e-liquids and vaping accessories on 12 May.
At Douglas Courthouse the 30-year-old entered a guilty plea to the theft – he also admitted stealing alcohol from Shoprite in Ramsey on 2 August.
His advocate told the court his client was suffering from ‘severe’ mental health issues adding: “These two offences are offences that occurred in a crisis period.”
A social enquiry report has been requested before Bowie is sentenced on 3 October; he’s been bailed until that date.
Update: At Douglas Courthouse on 3 October Bowie was ordered to undertake a 12-month probation order and pay prosecution costs of £175. He will also have to pay compensation to the man whose parcel he stole.
