94 hours of sunshine recorded
October was wetter, duller and slightly windier than average according to statistics from Ronaldsway Met Office.
They show total rainfall of 120 millimetres, which is around 17 millimetres higher than the average, and just over 94 hours of sunshine compared to the October mean of 106.5.
Despite the generally gloomy conditions the month was almost a degree warmer than average and ground frost was recorded on just one day.
