Manx Wild Bird Aid dealing with 'a lot' of birds in the condition
A wildlife charity on the Island says it's found a number of birds near Peel this week covered in oil.
Manx Wild Bird Aid says that includes several gulls and even a peregrine falcon.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture is working to identify the source of the pollution.
Quarantine measures at the charity's headquarters means it currently doesn't have capacity to take any more birds until some are released.
Because of that it's asking anyone who finds injured birds to try taking them to a vet or contacting the MSPCA.
