Cronk-y-Berry Primary School has said goodbye to a long serving and much loved member of staff.
Lunchtime ancillary Liz Walker has retired after 14 years in the post, having started there when the school opened in 1998.
At 73, she is the oldest person employed by the Department of Education and Children.
At lunchtime today (Friday) a party was held, attended by canteen colleagues past and present, other staff and pupils.
Mrs Walker told Ed Oldham she is going to miss the place:
Investigation underway after man dies in Barregarrow crossroads collision
DHSC 'taking charge' of Noble's Hospital capacity issues
Manx Care and DHSC open to public meeting about Ramsey Cottage Hospital
Police still receiving reports of AI being used for 'cruel purposes' in schools
