Former employee in row over complaints
An Onchan commissioner says he won’t step down or delay taking office despite losing an employment tribunal against the authority and having two complaints against senior managers.
Chris Quirk was a community officer in Onchan but was sacked for gross misconduct in 2014 - a tribunal found against him earlier this month.
This week, board member Rob Collister said Mr Quirk should delay taking his seat until his grievances have all been dealt with.
But Mr Quirk says there's no reason to do that:
