Quirk calls for people to make use of warm spaces
An Onchan commissioner wants elderly people to make use of the warm spaces that are being set up around the Island.
David Quirk feels that elderly people should be trying to go to the warm spaces instead of staying at home during the day.
Local authorities and organisations are eligible to apply to the Manx Lottery Trust for a grant to cover costs such as food and transport.
Mr Quirk wants groups and organisations to stagger the support they can provide:
