Roberts warned she could face prison
A woman who assaulted another in a nightclub has been warned she may be sent to prison.
Twenty-seven-year-old Leonie Roberts, of Sandringham Drive, Onchan, pleaded guilty to a charge of common assault when she appeared at Douglas courthouse on Tuesday.
The incident happened at the Courthouse club in Douglas during the early hours of 21 August last year.
The court heard there was a verbal altercation before a physical scuffle, which Roberts had to be pulled away from.
Roberts has been bailed and the case adjourned until 14 February.
Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes told the defendant she would keep all sentencing options open, including custody.
