General parking total to be 543 on completion
Around 130 parking spaces are to be lost to the public, when Douglas promenade work is completed.
The regeneration of the three-kilometre stretch is currently five months into the two-year project.
A number of updates have been published on the 'myprom' website.
In total there are set to be 543 spaces, including motorbikes, along the road for public parking.
There are to be eight coach spaces, 17 bus stops, 33 spaces for taxi ranks and five loading bays.
There are also going to be 14 controlled - that's puffin and zebra - crossings, as well as six uncontrolled crossings.
This means general public parking will be reduced by around 130 spaces.
