Police say road will be shut for up to four hours
A road in the centre of Douglas is closed this evening (Monday) due to what police have described as an ‘ongoing incident’.
Murrays Road is shut from the junction of Salisbury Street to Bathurst Street. It has been shut since 8.15pm and will remain so until after midnight, the constabulary says.
They've confirmed enquiries are in relation to the investigation from yesterday in which a man was stabbed.
Specialist Officers are conducting a search of a property. There is no perceived threat to the public, the force adds.
