A Manx Radio story about comments made in Tynwald by a Douglas MHK has provoked a massive wave of reaction on an online forum.
In yesterday’s budget debate West Douglas MHK, Geoff Corkish, hit out at those who criticised the government on websites, saying he felt such sites should be shut down.
Over 200 comments - across 14 pages and counting - have been made by the public on manxforums.com in response to Mr Corkish's remarks.
Speaking to Manx Radio after the budget debate had finished last night, Mr Corkish reiterated them, saying forum users' posts are often ill informed:
Southern 100 sidecar exclusion 'absolutely devastating'
Vicar: "Everybody goes through compromise when it comes to the races"
No racing to take place today
'We need to keep the spirit of the TT alive' says fan
