Local astronomer launches online space talks
There are new online lessons in astronomy for Manx children being homeschooled at the moment.
Howard Parkin of AstroManx has launched what he hopes will be a series of short talks for kids.
The first, available on YouTube, is called ‘Our Place in Space’ and looks at the Earth and its place within our Solar system.
Mr Parkin told Manx Radio about the first episode:
