MHK calls for online payment option for Manx patients
The Health Minister will be asked to consider allowing Manx patients to pay for their prescription exemption certificates online.
Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper wants to know whether there are plans to use the Government's online services portal for prescription payments.
Mr Hooper says some Manx residents have struggled to renew their certificates in time since the Department of Health and Social Care stopped sending out reminders.
He believes accepting online payments would make the process easier:
