Twelve degree-level courses on offer
A Higher Education open day is being held at the Nunnery campus of University College Isle of Man tomorrow (Wed 11th).
The event takes place from three until six in the afternoon, including a presentation at four from Katie Nicholson of the Bridge Angel Network Fund and professional golfer Tom Gandy, both ex-students talking about their experiences.
Lecturers will be on hand to talk about the twelve degree-level courses on offer, from computer science and marketing to art.
There will also be representatives from the Isle of Man Careers and Guidance Service, and from the Island's STEP programme which offers students paid summer internships.
Higher Education Manager Gail Corrin thinks UCM is becoming an increasingly appealing place to study:
BMA finds less than a quarter of doctors recommend working at Manx Care
Thirteen people entered or tried to enter the Island without immigration permission since January 2025
Abuse towards bus drivers 'will not be tolerated'
