The proposed regeneration of Douglas Promenade is proving to be a divisive issue amongst the Manx public.
Subject to planning approval, the £21 million investment is set to get underway in September, with regeneration works expected to take a minimum of three years.
The tram tracks will be redesigned, and the road bolstered by modern structural engineering, with a 'very visual difference' to south prom.
