Orchestra hoping to attract 'different kind of audience' at next concert

Music lovers urged to support Manx musicians

The Isle of Man Symphony Orchestra says its hoping to attract a ‘different kind of audience’ to its upcoming summer concert.

It’s undertaking final preparations ahead of the event, at the Villa Marina, on 5 July.

The 'Summer Concert of Classical Favourites' will feature much-loved classical pieces including Rossini’s William Tell Overture and Grieg’s Piano Concerto. 

It will be led by Graham Kirkland and guest conductor, and former BBC Philharmonic member, Stephen Threlfall.
