Initiative is currently costing government around £800,000
Government will consider in the coming months whether to continue offering free TV licences to over 75's who aren't on income support beyond the end of this year.
That's according to the Treasury Minister who says an announcement will be made on the matter later in 2023.
The support measure was announced in May last year in response to the cost of living crisis.
Dr Alex Allinson says the initiative - which is costing around £800,000 - is benefitting more than 5,000 households on-Island:
'Essential' that school staff recognise the signs of an allergic reaction
'High' risk of wildfires over the next week
'Come From Away' to continue after cast member injured during rehearsal
'Parks in worse state then when I started' says Peel commissioner
