Many self-employed complained they didn't qualify
The requirements have been slashed in half for the £1,500 Covid business support payment.
Yesterday, it was announced small firms and the self-employed would have to demonstrate they have overheads of around £500 a month to be eligible.
Today that's been reduced to £250.
It's after some had complained the requirements left many people unable to access the sum.
