As the Steam Packet prepares for its two busiest weeks of the year, its chief executive says he is confident that, as usual, his staff will rise to the challenge.
Mark Woodward says race fortnight is always important to the company, but it provides a huge headache because it demands a level of service and commitment not see at other times.
Mr Woodward also accepts that some of the recent criticism of facilities and service provided for passengers is justified, but says efforts are being made to bring about improvements (play audio file):
