PAG meeting to debate UK republic question

Should Britain's head of state be elected?

Should the British Isles elect its head of state?

That's the question which will be posed at the next Positive Action Group meeting.

At the end of January, PAG is welcoming representatives from Republic, an organisation which is hosting a series of meetings under the title, 'Where You Live', of which the one in Douglas will be the first.

The event is due to take place on Monday, 27 January at the Manx Legion Club on Market Hill in Douglas, starting at 7.30pm.

It's free and open to all.
