MHK calls for fresh look at economy and employment
There needs to be a fresh look at the Island's economy and employment situations following the coronavirus pandemic.
That's from Douglas Central MHK Chris Thomas, who is asking Tynwald to consider a number of new measures relating to the government's response to Covid-19.
He raised concerns over communication with the public, including the sending of letters to those who are shielding, and on whether or not to exercise during lockdown.
Mr Thomas says the outbreak has revealed change is needed:
Hospice's 'essential core services' will remain protected
Visitors give tourism levy idea the thumbs down
Final reading for bill aiming to "modernise, streamline and strengthen the Island’s Criminal Justice System"
