Panel to hear from small businesses on Douglas prom

Tynwald scrutiny body to hear from all affected, not just big business

The views of small businesses on Douglas promenade are being sought by a Tynwald scrutiny body.

A member of the Environment and Infrastructure Policy Review Committee says it's "absolutely key" the panel hears evidence from everyone affected.

It's been examining the impacts ongoing refurbishment works are having on firms along the prom.

It's so far heard in public from representatives of four large hotels or groups of hotels, plus a restaurant owner.
