Police says issue 'intensifying' in the run-up to Christmas
Police in Ramsey say they've had a number of reports of parcels being stolen from peoples' doorsteps.
The Northern Neighbourhood Policing Team says it's a long-running issue that appears to have 'intensified on the run-up to Christmas.'
People are urged to be extra vigilant when ordering parcels for delivery, and to ensure either yourself, a neighbour or a friend is available to receive them - or that 'safe places' are properly secure.
Officers say doorbell cameras and CCTV systems are worth the investment.
Anyone with any information regarding stolen parcels is urged to contact Ramsey Police Station.
