MHK will ask chief minister to provide update in Tynwald
An MHK wants to know how the government plans to limit the additional demand on the Isle of Man Foodbank over the school summer holidays.
The charity often reports an increase in parents seeking help over the break due to children not receiving free school meals over the summer months.
Garff member Daphne Caine will ask Chief Minister Howard Quayle what work has been done to mitigate this when Tynwald sits next week.
She revealed the foodbank has already been contacted by one concerned parent:
