School playing field gets a makeover
A school in the south of the Island is inviting parents to come and try out the new playing field with their children.
The equipment at Ballasalla School has been designed by Chris Gregory from the Children's Centre who encourages children to spend more time outdoors through the Right to Play scheme.
It's hoped the design will give the students problem solving challenges while still being fun.
Parents are invited to go along to the school today (Friday) between 2.30pm and 3.15pm.
Six-year-old Isabella Mackrell says she especially likes the tyre swing because it goes really high.
