Programme is for eligible Year 13 students and under-25s
A limited-time local meningitis B vaccination offer is to be established for young people ahead of the 2026 academic year.
The Department of Health and Social Care has come to the decision following consultation with Public Health and Manx Care.
It's after a severe outbreak in Kent of the potentially fatal bacterial infection.
Updating the House of Keys, Cabinet Office Minister David Ashford said the rollout will reflect the UK's approach:
The programme is for eligible Year 13 students and under-25s entering university or relevant residential further education settings for the first time in the next academic year.
It is expected to start in July and will deliver the vaccination as an additional route alongside access through the NHS.
Students need two doses for protection, given at least four weeks apart, and the local vaccination programme means they can choose to start or complete their course before leaving the Island.
It means Manx students studying in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland will be able to start university fully vaccinated.
Details of how eligible students can book appointments locally will be confirmed by Manx Care as soon as arrangements are finalised.
Health and Social Care Minister, Claire Christian said: "As Minister for the DHSC, I am pleased to introduce this one off, two dose MenB vaccination programme for eligible young people entering university or other residential education settings for the first time in the coming academic year.
"This offer ensures our students can be fully protected before they begin their studies and that they have the same access to vaccination as their peers in the UK. By making the vaccine available on Island, students can choose to complete their course of vaccination here, while still having the option to use NHS services once they arrive in the UK."
Dr Matt Tyrer, Director of Public Health, added: "MenB remains very rare and the risk to the wider Isle of Man population is extremely low.
"Public Health recommends students take a broad approach to vaccinations and, before they travel, check they are up to date with other routine vaccinations including the three-in-one teenage booster Td/IPV as well as MenACWY, MMR and HPV."
