Parliamentary reform proposals wrong

If Tynwald, and more specifically the House of Keys, wants parliamentary reform it's entirely up to them.

That's according to former President of Tynwald Noel Cringle, who's today gave evidence to a committee looking into proposals put forward by David Callister MLC.

They call for the Island to be split into eight constituencies, each represented by three MHKs and one MLC, all of whom would be democratically elected.

Mr Cringle told the committee such a system would be flawed and afterwards explained to Manx Radio why he thought so:
