The Chief Minister’s been asked to intervene in the ongoing dispute over public sector pay.
It’s understood negotiations have been put on hold between the employers and employees side of the Whitley Council.
Earlier this week, chairman of the employers side MHK Alf Cannan called for a sensible debate in a professional manner but re-stressed there’s no money available for pay rises.
Employees side secretary Eric Holmes admits talks have reached an impasse.
