Man injured after incident on Albany Road in Peel
A pedestrian who was injured in a road traffic collision in Peel has been transferred to a hospital in the UK.
Police say it’s due to the nature of his injuries.
The incident – which involved the elderly man and a single vehicle - happened on Friday (24 November), just before 7pm, on Albany Road.
The road was closed for a number of hours whilst forensic collision investigation took place.
Officers had appealed for anyone who was travelling along Albany Road or Tynwald Road to contact the Roads Policing Unit.
