Peel fights may have been linked

Police are appealing for information after a fight near the Clothworkers School in Peel at the weekend.

Officers say a group of people were involved in the incident which happened at 2am on Saturday, and left a man and a woman needing hospital treatment.

Peel police say the fight may have been linked to an argument between three or four men and a woman on the town's promenade, near the Marine public house, at about 1am.

Anybody with information is asked to ring Police Headquarters in Douglas on 631212, or the anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.
