Small boat suffers engine failure
Peel lifeboat was launched yesterday afternoon to go to the aid of a small rigid inflatable boat with two people on board.
The call out came at 3.30pm, after the RIB had suffered engine failure.
The “Ruby Clery”, under the command of coxswain Jon Corlett, soon found the vessel about 1.5 miles off Peel, near White Strand.
A tow was established and the RIB was safely returned to Peel harbour.
Both occupants were unharmed.
