Cocaine worth up to £5,800
A Peel man who brought almost £6,000 worth of cocaine to the Island will be sentenced today (Monday).
Matthew David Joseph Prendergast, 29, of Castle Street, admits production of the drug and possession with intent to supply.
He was arrested at Ronaldsway Airport on April 9.
More than 80 grams of cocaine were recovered from Prendergast, which police say was worth up to £5,800.
He’s due to be sentenced at Douglas courthouse.
