
Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault in which a man was punched to the ground.
It happened in Douglas Street, Peel, at around 4pm yesterday (Wednesday), close to the junction with Michael Street.
The victim was hit several times by another man, causing him to fall from the pavement into the road.
Officers say the incident would have been witnessed by a number of members of the public.
