Things shaping up for ship-out
A boat building competition is among today’s highlights at the annual Traditional Boat Weekend in Peel.
Around 30 traditional boats are taking part in the event, which includes a schedule of activities.
A parade of sail starts at 9.30 this morning, while the quick and dirty boat building competition race is at 2.30pm.
Building starts at 8am.
Chairman of the organising committee, Mike Clark, hopes it will be a spectacle for everyone.
