There’s still a week to view exciting plans aimed to regenerate Peel.
Proposals to enhance the town’s Market Square are on public display at the commissioners’ offices.
Chairman of the town’s regeneration committee, Peel MHK Tim Crookall, says the square provides an opportunity to create a civic space for the public to enjoy and is one which could host events, while improving pedestrian access and rationalising car parking.
The first phase of regeneration – the Derby Road Gateway project - will see improvements to the area between the Town Hall and St German’s Cathedral.
