Prosecution to lay alternative charges
A case against three Peel residents accused of removing more than £45,000 of criminal property from the Island has been adjourned.
Fifty-one-year-old Beverley Taylor of West View, 24-year-old Jamie Griffin and 20-year-old Meghan Tammy Griffin - both of Fenella Terrace - appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes on Tuesday.
It's alleged they transferred the money - believed to be the proceeds of crime - to bank accounts in Liverpool.
The case has now been adjourned until Tuesday, July 12, to allow prosecution to lay alternative charges before the court.
